After Steve Jobs' death many people and companies declared that they were really upset and sad about his disappearance.
WeSC had the idea to do its tribute by urban tags with Apple's codes : colors and shape of apple.
To me, they thought more about business than real homage. Indeed, this is also a way to do advertisement via sad news. I don't think this will give them a nice brand image : using "street art" is more for a rebellion than a tribute.
Interesting point of view. Again, I'd like you to relate more about your company in response to this kind of announcement by a competitor. Differential your company, explain your policy, make your community understand why your position is more authentic, trustworthy, etc...
